The historical Spruce Goose hanger was converted to a vibrant workplace that pays homage to the history of aviation. We worked with the architecture firm ZGF on the beautiful timber hanger that used to be home to the world’s largest airplane, the Spruce Goose. The four floors feature open office space, themed conference rooms, custom sculptures, dynamic murals, playful wall graphics, and discoverable moments at every turn. You can look for Harry Potter horcruxes hidden throughout the building, embark on a scavenger hunt in the Game Room, and listen to ghost stories told by local Googlers. The hanger also pays homage to the history of aviation and Howard Hughes, the filmmaker and pilot who owned the Spruce Goose.
